Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Remote Psychotherapy: Provide evidence-based online psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families for a range of psychological, emotional, and behavioural issues.
Perform Psychological Assessments: Conduct clinical interviews and administer appropriate psychological assessments (where suitable for a remote format) to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain Clinical Records: Keep accurate, confidential, and timely clinical records in compliance with the standards set by your UAE licensing authority (DHA, DOH, or MOHAP).
Adhere to UAE Regulations: Strictly follow the ethical codes and telehealth policies mandated by the UAE health authorities and relevant professional bodies.
Direct Client Management: Manage all aspects of client interaction, including scheduling, informed consent, and outlining your practice policies and fees.

Essential Requirements:

UAE Professional License: Must hold a current, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist from a recognized UAE health authority:
- Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
- Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH)
- Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP)
Education: A Master's Degree or Doctorate (PhD, PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from a reputable, accredited university that meets the Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR) of the relevant UAE health authority.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or community setting, as is typically required for licensure in the UAE.
Residency: Must be a resident of the United Arab Emirates.
Telehealth Proficiency: Competence and experience in using secure, compliant video conferencing platforms for therapeutic services.
Setup: Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a private, professional, and confidential space suitable for conducting remote sessions.

Desirable Requirements:

Experience providing telehealth services specifically within the UAE.
Fluency in Arabic in addition to English.
Specialized training and experience in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy) or with specific populations (e.g., children, couples).
Experience working with the diverse, multicultural population of the UAE.
