Key Responsibilities:

Design and Deliver Remote Cognitive Rehabilitation Programs: Create and implement personalized online rehabilitation programs for individuals with cognitive deficits resulting from traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, ADHD, mild cognitive impairment, or other neurological conditions. Focus on improving memory, attention, problem-solving, and executive functions.
Provide Neuropsychological Consultation and Psychoeducation: Conduct expert online consultations for individuals and families seeking to understand cognitive changes. Provide education about neurological conditions and practical strategies for managing daily life.
Conduct Remote Cognitive Screenings: Perform initial cognitive screenings using validated online tools, structured clinical interviews, and behavioral observations to identify areas of cognitive strength and weakness and to guide recommendations for further assessment or intervention.
Write Professional Reports: Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing consultation findings, screening results, and rehabilitation progress, with actionable recommendations for clients and their families.

Please Note: This role focuses on rehabilitation, consultation, and cognitive screening. Comprehensive, formal neuropsychological assessments often require the in-person administration of standardized tests, which is beyond the scope of this remote service model.

Essential Requirements:

UAE Professional License: Must hold a current, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Neuropsychologist or Clinical Psychologist from a recognized UAE health authority:
- Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
- Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH)
- Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP)
Education: A Master's Degree or Doctorate (PhD, PsyD) in Neuropsychology, or in Clinical Psychology with a formal post-graduate specialization or fellowship in Neuropsychology.
Experience: Demonstrable post-qualification experience in conducting neuropsychological assessments AND, critically, in designing and implementing cognitive rehabilitation programs.
Residency: Must be a current resident of the United Arab Emirates.
Telehealth Competency: Proficiency in using secure video conferencing platforms and familiarity with digital tools for cognitive screening and rehabilitation.
Setup: Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a private, professional space suitable for conducting confidential sessions.

Desirable Requirements:

Experience working with specific populations (e.g., pediatric, geriatric, TBI, stroke).
Fluency in Arabic in addition to English.
Membership in international neuropsychological societies or associations.

Status: Independent Contractor. You are responsible for your own visa, work permits, and full compliance with all UAE laws regarding self-employment and professional practice.
